About Springwell Dene School
Springwell Dene is a small special school designed to meet the needs of children who have statements of Special Educational Needs for Social, Emotional or Behavioural Difficulties.
The child’s difficulties in education will often stem from social and emotional difficulties. Springwell Dene has the expertise to help to make a difference to this kind of child by creating , a friendly and caring school which places great emphasis on co-operation, working together and taking responsibility.
Springwell Dene has permanent staff of 11 teachers. This includes our Head teacher and Deputy Head. There are also 14 full time assistants and a technician. There are 66 students on roll.
