Performing Arts
All students at KS3 are taught in a very practical way using a wide variety of instruments and techniques. They are encouraged to participate in performances both within the classroom and outside of it.
Areas covered within the curriculum are: singing, rap, improvisation, composition and instrumental work - using guitars, keyboards, drums and other percussion. In music technology students learn how to do simple multi-track tasks. There are peripatetic music teachers who offer individual instrumental work and all students are given the opportunity to participate.
